John points out that bringing customers to delight and obsessing over customer happiness as opposed to being obsessed with technology and the bottom line is the better goal today. It’s not that we lose touch with technology, but we lose touch in how to bring value to our clients. Brett surmises that the world has moved from a push society to a pull society. Part of the teachable moment for us as businesses is to be aware of how, where, and what our customers are pulling and how we can be there to ask the right questions and really create happiness moments.
